DIALux is undoubtedly the market-leading software for lighting calculation and lighting simulation. The design software now also comprehensively includes Airam luminaire data available around the clock for lighting design needs. Airam product information is available in DIALux in Finnish, Swedish and English.

In the DIALux partnership, it is essential that Airam luminaires are found even more easily in project plans. In practice, the improvement covers almost the entire Airam pro luminaire range, i.e. all professional lighting luminaires equipped with a fixed LED light source.
Product search speeds things up
Henry Huittinen, lighting specialist in Airam’s project sales, explains the significant benefits of the partnership agreement from the designer’s perspective as follows: “Finding and selecting luminaires is easy with the new product search in the DIALux software. Products can be found directly in the hierarchy or by searching based on installation method or other freely selectable criteria,” says Huittinen.
“In addition to reports, comprehensive product cards can be printed automatically with lighting calculations. Choosing the right luminaire model and comparing alternatives is easy, and the photometric files for all luminaires needed for a single project can be selected and downloaded at once,” Huittinen summarises.
Airam’s website also benefits from the partnership
On Airam’s website, the DIALux partnership is also reflected in new photometric files and better tools. In addition to the old LTD photometric files, the website now also offers new ULD-format photometric files that include, in addition to luminaire dimensions and photometric data, for example the luminaire image, description text, a possible 3D model and other important additional information.
The right luminaire choices through lighting measurements
Members of Airam’s quotation calculation team often act as background support in projects by carrying out DIALux calculations for the site during the design phase when the customer needs them. Project-specific calculations determine how much light is needed in the site and ensure that lighting is at the desired level and meets the lighting standards for the intended use of the space.
