K-Citymarket’s lighting was renewed with Marketta
Seamless collaboration from start to finish
The lighting at K-Citymarket Valkeakoski was renewed in spring 2026. All luminaires in the store premises were replaced with Airam’s energy-efficient Marketta luminaire. A total of 340 Marketta luminaires were installed throughout the store. Thanks to seamless cooperation between the contractor, the wholesaler and Airam, the project progressed smoothly from start to finish and on schedule.

A rapid structural modification to the mounting bracket resolved the installation space constraints
It is common for unexpected challenges to arise during a major project. This project was no exception; the positioning of a sprinkler pipe within the ceiling structures caused difficulties when it was found to be located directly in the middle of the planned luminaire installation line. Airam’s factory in Lahti quickly produced mounting brackets that enabled the luminaires to be lowered in a controlled manner.

You can rely on a trusted partner. The customised brackets were produced so quickly that there were no delays of any kind on site.
Marko Akkanen from Onninen Riihimäki praises the execution of the entire project. According to him, the cooperation worked exceptionally well and was easy and straightforward from the customer’s perspective.
