Airam implemented a bright and calming landscape for four treatment rooms at a hospital dental clinic. The landscape image was installed in the suspended ceiling system together with recessed Plateia Q Sky luminaires.
Satakunta Central Hospital offers services in almost all medical specialties in Pori. Airam supplied the hospital’s oral and maxillofacial diseases outpatient clinic with a bright and calming landscape for four treatment rooms. The landscape image was installed in the suspended ceiling system together with recessed Plateia Q Sky luminaires. The landscape image was customised according to the client’s wishes from Airam’s image selection.
Multiple image options
With Plateia Q Sky luminaire assemblies, a skylight effect can be created in spaces with little natural light or where the environment otherwise needs a refreshed appearance. The product family is available with several image options and sizes, as well as individual panels.
From Airam’s ready-made sky and foliage images, assemblies of different sizes and shapes can be created using 596 × 596 mm luminaires: (2×3, 3×3, 4×4 and 3×4 units). The system can also be implemented using the customer’s own images, provided that the image quality is sufficient for printing. If required, the luminaire can also be installed with DALI control.

Minna Alhonen works as a Senior Specialist at the Hospital District of Satakunta. She had familiarised herself with hospitals both in Finland and abroad and had encountered similar nature images mounted on ceilings in the Netherlands.
