Marketta – an energy-efficient retail luminaire
Marketta is an excellent choice for store lighting. The light distribution characteristics of the energy-efficient Marketta have been optimized specifically for the lighting needs of commercial and retail spaces.
Marketta provides uniform illumination for both shelving vertical surfaces and the floor. Well-designed and properly implemented lighting creates smoothness and safety for everyone using the space, helps customers find the right products, and makes staff work easier. Energy-efficient lighting minimizes operating costs.
Versatile Marketta
In retail environments, luminaires are required to have a long lifespan and high reliability. The useful lifetime of the Marketta luminaire, including its driver, is long: L70 > 100,000 h. The luminaire contains no components requiring maintenance, meaning maintenance costs are very low. Marketta is available in a versatile selection of standard options, and it can also be customized to meet the lighting requirements of even the most demanding projects. The product can be modified, for example, in terms of optics, luminous flux, and control method. Various installation kits are available as ready-made solutions or tailored to the project. The Marketta housing can also be painted in RAL colors.
Full-store lighting
Marketta was selected as the luminaire for the entire store during the renovation of S-Market Padasjoki. Marketta features a lightweight structure, making handling and installation easy and effortless. We supplied Marketta with a 70 mm universal bracket for mounting onto a suspended lighting track, and ramp brackets were added to some of the luminaires. Ready-made five-meter connection cables were customized for the products at our Lahti factory to facilitate cabling work. Installation progressed smoothly and as planned, and the project was completed on schedule in December 2024.
At S-Market Padasjoki, lighting control has been implemented using a DALI system, allowing the lighting to be adjusted precisely to the desired level. Lighting control offers significant advantages in public spaces: improved energy efficiency, increased user-friendliness, and enhanced safety. Controllability also enables flexibility, such as automatically dimming or switching off lights based on detected movement when needed, further reducing energy consumption and costs. In addition, the systems can report maintenance needs, making upkeep easier. In addition to DALI compatibility, Marketta is also available with wireless Casambi control.
Finnish production
Marketta is a luminaire designed in Kerava and manufactured at our factory in Lahti, and it has been awarded the the Finnish Key Flag Symbol (Avainlippu).
